Please note this fabric is PFD and consequently has a shrinkage of around 10%. Take this into consideration when calculating meterage requirements. PFD is an abbreviation for fabrics that have been ‘Prepared For Dye’. In commercial fabric processing, this means that the fabrics have been woven or knitted, and have then undergone the processing required (such as bleaching or scouring) to remove natural waxes and oils from their surface, which helps them absorb and hold dyes.
